Viewsonic ViewPad 100 dual-boot tablet runs Android and Windows 7

It’s raining tablets lately and already manufacturers are trying to make an impact in the market with something different in the genre. In process, Viewsonic has introduced a 10-inch dual-boot tablet running both Android and Windows. The released information of the dual-boot, Viewpad 100 reveals a multi-touch LED 1024x600 tablet, which runs an option of Windows 7 Home Premium or Google Android 1.6, and the success of the tablet would mean free upgrade to Android 2.0 and upwards.

The dual-boot tablet comes with a motive to give users a wider range on how they use their tablets, besides giving them an Atom N455 1.66Ghz processor powered tablet to work on. Featuring a 16GB SSD, 1GB of DDR3, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, assisted GPS, webcam and USB, the Viewpad 100 will be available for a £549 (approx. $850).
