IMs are the way to go, and with added in-browser functionality, things only get better by the day. GTalk has been in use over a number of years now, and there is ample potential that the messenger possesses. And with Google adding Video and Voice Chat features to GTalk, we see it as surmounting advantage over the other IMs. Typing email may be no different than typing chat messages over IM, only for the latter being a quicker mode of transferring information. This added video and voice chatting could be the easiest and quickest means to deliver instant messages – may god bless your internet connections for it, souls. Using the in-browser attribute is as easy as clicking a button – just get on the Video and more menu option in the chat window, and select the desired feature viz. Start Voice Chat or Start Video Chat. Smells more like Skype, but the IM’s free and fast, therefore we believe this added facility, which shall be out and rolling in a day’s time, will only add to GTalk’s popularity.
