Vgo telepresence robot bids to be your intelligent avatar

The droid world is full of all sorts of newness, everyday a host of new robots make way into our world, thus we miss upon many of them. But the lately introduced Vgo telepresence robot by Vgo Communications isn’t one we could just pass by without a mention. We’ve seen a few telepresence robots in our day, and the Anybots’ Wi-Fi QA telepresence robot was one of the best in them all, and we so dearly craved to own one. Now, with the emergence of the Vgo, robot can stand for you in the meetings or act as a avatar for you while you stand present in it via its screen and a loudspeaker. The best thing about the Vgo is its dirt cheap cost, which amounts to $5000 plus a mandatory support contract of $1200 a year - $6200 in all. Besides the batteries to run all day long, we presume the high-tech bot to come with anti collision sensors, Wi-Fi connectivity and a self-parking-for-charge system, but there is no official word on any of its features yet.
