We first heard of Google readying a tablet with Chrome OS, but that never came beyond the mock-up stage. Now, Verizon Wireless in collaboration with Google is expected to be readying a tablet to rival the Apple iPad, and this time the tablet would be an Android-powered device. There isn't any real information on the device yet, but from what we learn through Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam, his company is looking for all the things Google could provide them to help make a better tablet, that actually stands ground against the iPad. Verizon will release more details on the device later this week, so keep tuned in for more.
