V8 engine-powered Steampunk bike is spectacular to the core

Mikhail Smolyanov, a Russian designer, has been credited with a number of modern designs including the steampunked style car. He first dreamt of creating a bike with racing car design of 1920s fitted with aircraft engines. Instead, he opted for the Steampunk style of design, combining the steam engine era of the 19th century with elements of science fiction and fantasy.

The wheels as well as the curve of the speedometer, windshield, tank shells and machine are given an impression of minimalist design elements. Straight wheels grip like a wagon and the rear wheels are driven by the axle. The axle can be seen from the mounting pole in the right rear.

The seat is made of leather, with leather bags in front. The designer has also added a detailed part of V8 engine. The wing motor design is taken from the plane giving a vintage look and feel to the vehicle. The number "27" at the stem embodies and embraces the old racing car design along with tank shells and machine.

The working is noteworthy with engine room covered with nets and an ancient machine style cylinder. The maneuvering is performed by a lay wheel to the right or left and the system turns the front wheel rather non-conventionally. The "Steampunk" bike is of antique quality and a collectible item for many steampunk admirers.
