Dual screens have been around for quite some time; now there are gazillions of mobile phones that boast of a dual screen. But I am not here to discuss another boring (I kinda hate flip open phones) dual screen mobile, it’s a bout a dual-screen laptop concept. Yea yea, I know Asus, BenQ, LG etc have already rolled out few laptops with small LCD on the outside but this one is purely a dual-screen laptop. Imagine a laptop that’s got multi-touch screen with haptic feedback for a keyboard, that’s V12 design’s concept laptop that will be a reality by 2010.
LaptopMag says that V12 Design is working with some US computer company to bring this concept to life. This kind of device will be an instant hit with graphic designers, eBook lovers, students etc. Though one may argue this device’s practical implementation in real life as using a touchscreen keyboard won’t be as easy as using a real one but they said same thing about iPhone as well. Pics shown above are of old concept and V12 has made some significant changes in design (which we are not aware of). I just hope that they will deliver it to market on time, we are waiting 2010, we are waiting!
