To all such people who wish to hit hard on the keys of the computer, a US designer, Jack Zylkin has come out with a USB typewriter. So, typewriter addicts can now connect their typewriters to the the computer and happily go ahead with their harsh typing. Notably, the designer says, wiring is not a headache in the USB typewriter. It works on a computer with just a single wire. It just replaces your USB keyboard, that’s all. The idea is actually awesome.

The USB typewriters can be ordered online at Etsy website. The cost of them vary between 699 USD and 899 USD depending on the size and style. Ever since the introduction of these typewriters, the demand for them have been constantly increasing, said Jack. It may be noted that this product was introduced in July 2010. The designer boasts that the sales have been cent per cent so far.

These latest keyboards look exactly like the traditional typewriters except that they have USB facility. Though they look exactly like traditional typewriters, it will be a bad option to purchase this USB typewriter if you don’t have a computer. I am little unsure if this USB keyboard can be used as a regular typewriter.

The price of the USB product is reasonable enough (between $699 and $899) and I feel there’s no harm in trying the product even if you are not a die-hard fan of traditional typewriter. After all, it’s fun hitting on the keys of a typewriter. The size of the USD typewriter is not that big making it convenient for a person to connect it to his computer. All in all, it’s a good product for sure.
