US soldiers to use MAARS robot
In a major boost to soldiers, U.S. Military’s Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office has reached out an agreement with Foster-Miller to use their MAARS (Modular Advanced Armed Robotic System) ground robots. The MAARS system is well planned and highly sophisticated. The system packs a M240B medium machine gun along with a spotting scope. The human controller can sit and let the weaponries robot take the hit several miles away. The tank tracks can be easily transformed to wheels and the gun mount can be replaced with mechanical IED arms.

The arms are meant to assist the injured soldiers and get them out of harms way. The downside is that MAARS doesn’t have its own mind. So someone still has to pull the trigger.
MAARS is well furnished with non-lethal and lethal capabilities to boost military operations in combat environments. The robots are remotely controlled by a military operator.
MARRS robots will be highly helpful for the soldiers deployed in conflict zones. With MAARS, they will get real-time information about survivability and counter threats.
