U.S at last issues biometric passports

Showing privacy issues a big middle finger U.S has started issuing passports that contain biometric info stored on remote readable microchips. Keeping in mind the repercussions of September 11 attack and to streamline the incoming as well as outgoing human traffic U.S. has been trying to use this technology for last three and half years. In 2002 it has passed legislation requiring the introduction of electronic passports.
