The Electronic appliances these days are now driven by remote and if you are even average human being with some electronic items in the house you have a good chance of having 2 to 3 remotes for various electronic gadgets in your house.
The Universal remote for all the items is a quick and a good solution of otherwise having to juggle all those remotes. The Universal Electronics has been manufacturing these types of remotes and have come up with a new product which they displayed in CEATEC 2006.
The new remote called NEVO by employing infrared ray data base can register various AV devices in home and also has Wi-Fi connectivity.
The remote is a digital RC model that has a display on it to show whch devices you can control by it.
