From the looks of it, we are well-nigh close to cracking the Batsuit (one in the Dark Knight, to be precise!) code. Kevlar, as a material for protective jackets, has been put through extensive testing for possible pitfalls. Each time, the cumbersome nature of this fiber has come to the fore, with its ventilation inabilities proving to be a real dampener. However, the Recoil Body Armor shows us how a better design can address this problem. This vest will actually use Kevlar only as a Level II protection, while Ceramic tiles or Alumuni blended with a soft ballistic layer offer Level III protection. Encompassing all these is a 600D Nylon outer cover that takes care of the aesthetics part. All the inner panels will be designed for minimum sweat build-up. Eyelit webbing and a sweat vest are built into the panels for this purpose. If you are a sucker for comfort, do not panic! The armor will also offer generous amount of padding at strategic locations. Now, you’re all ‘geared up’ to take on heavy artillery.
