Ukrainian journo uses a phone to send world’s first underwater tweet

Taking the social media – rather the micro-blogging craze down to the deep waters, Ukrainian TV journalist, Julia Gorodetskaya, became the first scuba diver to send a real underwater tweet. Julia sent the world's first documented underwater tweet from the bed of a 19-feet-deep dolphinarium in Odessa, Ukraine. The scuba-tweet was broadcasted by local media in Ukraine and was documented by regional press. This event that comprised of the tweet sent via a plastic sealed mobile phone using Opera Mini Twitter Web-interface was filmed and broadcasted live by Boris Khodorkovsky [@netocrat] and that’s how we have the YouTube video of the feat below.
