If you’re craving for speed, Asetek has the perfect solution for you. Asetek, Denmark, has joined hands with Kingston Technology Europe Ltd., and Western Digital of the U.S. to manufacture the fasted commercially commercially available PCs in the world that are showcased at the CeBIT 2006. The so called ‘Dream Machine’ gives a whopping CPU speed of 5.46 GHz.

The ultimate machine is furnished with VapoChillr LightSpeed CPU cooling, WaterChillT graphics, motherboard chipset cooling, Kingston Technology HyperX KHX7200D2K2 DDR2 RAM, WD Raptorr X hard drives and Intel P4 3.8GHz CPU.

The technicians of the project have hit the nail on its head with giving emphasis on the cooling because it’s the only factor dramatically influencing the performance of a system.

Morten Berg-Christensen, Senior Communications Manager at Asetek said:

“To reach a CPU speed at 5.46 GHz it is crucial to have very efficient cooling on all essential hardware. That is why we have chosen phase-change cooling reaching CPU surroundings close to -33 Celsius degrees under load. Additionally the graphics card and the motherboard chipset are chilled by asetek’s highly recognized and awarded water-cooling product line; WaterChillT”.
