Translucent LCD dashboard: Designed for your 'eyes'

Redundancy does have its benefits. You can play around with an original design to create aesthetically superior concepts. Like the translucent LCD Dashboard from Johnson Controls, for instance! At times, advancements in technology do sound retrogressive, perhaps for the fact that they are designed for the 'eye'.

The translucent LCD dashboard does have an avant-garde appearance to it. However, the advantages don't go beyond its more mundane looking predecessors. The light source for the dazzle in the dashboard is provided by the ambient lighting passing through the windscreen.
And at night, it radiates on its own. You can mount it on the traditional dashboard in the car and watch your meters turn bright to 'light-up' your day.
