Transcendental tunes lets Alzeihmer’s patients access memories with music

Designed by José de la O Campos, Transcendental Tunes is a project made by combining the virtues of RFID technology and a wooden audio device to help Alzheimer's patients access their memories. RFID and audio device combined together plays digital music in order to release/to make accessible the captive memories. Working on the principle that Alzheimer’s patients cannot access the memories, it plays with the Medical prefrontal cortex, which is the last area to be affected by the disease. The metallic orb, acting as RFID antenna stores the song that is to be played to help the patient. When the song is played, the the memories in the patient's mind are or should be released.
