
Olympus has unveiled a new member from its rugged compact camera series, christened the µ Tough-6010. This camera houses a 12-megapixel lens with features such as Magic Filters, Dual Image Stabilization, Tap Control, Pop Art, Fish-Eye, Sketch, Pin Hole and many more. This rugged camera is priced at a steep $488.
The various properties that make it stand out from the crowd are:

• 12.7 million total pixels with 12 million effective pixels

• TAP Control Menu for great convenience
• Dual Image Stabilization (combines mechanical and digital image stabilization) avoids blur
