TouchKo unveils touch-less Touchscreen
Touchscreen displays have made room in all major devices which make use of LCD screens.
More and more cell phones and gadgets come equipped with these touch sensitive displays.
But using a Touchscreen has its own disadvantages. First of all it needs a lot of practice and use to get used to this way of controlling devices. Secondly their use means that you end with a dirty thumb printed screen which has to be cleaned quite often.
Coming to the market is this new interface technology. The technology is a Touchscreen display that does not needs a touch. The system has been developed by a company called TouchKo and relies on sensors to be controlled by hand movement from up to 6 inches away.
Basically the system has been designed for medical use and will soon be made available for many other devices.
