Sending another rage thriving in the world’s first campaign, Toshiba announced the world’s first 64GB SDXC memory card (advanced SD card), which is also capable of reaching the fastest data transfer speeds. Boasting a really ultra-fast write speed of 35MB per second, the SDXC offers 60MB per second read speed, making it the fastest in the department out there. With such capacity and delivering ability, the 64GB SDXC, the largest capacity card on the market, could find its way into high-resolution digital cameras and HD camcorders after the memory card is mass produced sometime in the spring of 2010. By then Toshiba is also expected to coax over the market with new SDHC memory cards, offering 16GB and 32GB capacity. While it is a long way still for the memory cards to float, Toshiba is also taking its time to announce the prices.
