Toshiba HD DVD player discounted!

Now this is what we call grabbing the customer by nerves...from head to toe. It has been just three days Toshiba launched the world's first HD DVD player HD-XA1 and today it's discounted. Some DigitalWorldTokyo's scoop hunters spotted it for under ¥100,000 at Bic Camera, which is ¥10,000 less than the list price. There's no specific reason we can predict why Toshiba did it so early, may be it was launched in a hurry sticking to the words. Anyway, it seems like just another twist in the digital format war.
