Toshiba’s new Gigashot R30 and R60 pocket camcorders are loaded with a 1.8″ HDD carrying 30GB or 60GB of capacity. The 60GB camcorder can record up to 55 hours of videos in Mpeg-2 and LP mode. The 2.5′ screen exhibit 864×240 resolution and there is a CCD 1/36 sensor with a 2.12MP resolution. With an SD card it doesn’t scores over other players as it sadly lacks HD. Anyway, the devices enable you to record Dolby Digital sound with a BR of 192/384kbps. The R60 weighing 410 grams measures 50.7×70.5×119 mm and is priced at 850 EUR.
