We have heard that a picture is worth a thousand words, but what if a picture becomes worth a thousand emotions? This is what Toshiba has brought for all its users in its 55ZL2, the world’s first large-screen glass free 3D TV that supports Auto Calibration.

Toshiba has brought a studio level picture quality in its newly launched 55 inch glasses-free 3D TV, which supports 16:9 LED backlit display. It has a Quad Full HD resolution, which is almost 4 times that of a normal TV. The 55ZL2 is designed in a manner that its 3D content can be viewed from different angles. The amazing feature that would actually grab attention is its CEVO- ENGINE that calculates nine viewing zones in front of a screen and face tracing operated by remote control, which is used for detecting viewer’s actual positions.
Toshiba 55ZL2 lets you record content onto an external hard drive using a USB drive. SMART-TV functioning here helps in accessing Toshiba’s online platform, while the lower resolution content can be converted into Quad full HD resolution. By downloading a simple app, iPhone users can control the smart TV without the remote.
Toshiba is a step ahead in the cut throat competition of 3D TV designing, and this new large-screen glasses-free 3D TV sets a new benchmark for the industry. Now, we all can actually have fun watching TV with crisper, real and natural images on screen that too from a wide range of angles. 55ZL2 has actually transformed a technology into a luxury.
‘Patience’ is the word that can be said to all those who would like to buy the world’s first large screen glasses free 3D TV in European countries, as the release dates are yet to be confirmed. But yes, it will be available in German markets in Dec. 2011. The cost of this high tech revolutionary 3D TV is yet to be declared, so let’s wait for a word from Toshiba.
