Tom Kipgen handmade Radio Moscow for sale

A passion to design unique handcrafted radios pulls Tom Kipgen (retired Spam dealer) back into the era, where wireless radios ruled lives. He has designed this tall Radio Moscow. The uniquely designed radio is made in brass cupola suspended on top of the 1625 tube. Tom has used 2" solid brass pipe to hold the suspension from top to bottom placing a well painted Padauk wood stand. Bearing a rocket like appearance, the tube radio is built around an enormous triangular variable capacitor, resembling the funny hats sitting on buildings in Moscow. The Radio Moscow is available in 20 distinctive sets and can be purchased for $327.
