Watches have come a long way since their inception as portable wrist hugging tellers of time. Many thoughtful innovations and improving technologies have churned out a mind boggling range of watches. TokyoFlash Japan recently premiered Right Angle, a quirky watch from their Design Studio collection that challenges the way we use a watch.

The watch looks plucky, sporting angular cuts that give it a sleek, sturdy masculine edge. An IP black color finish completes the stunning look. You can opt for an acetate finish if you desire more refinement. Adding to this aura is the flashy neon green LED backlit screen. This comes alive at the touch of a button. It is a great help when navigating around in pitch dark places like poorly lit roads, mines, cellars etc. If you are the adventurous type, then you can use it to move around forests at night, dungeons, underground sewers or creepy back alleys. Simply put, it is useful whenever some light is required. The color featured in this model is green but other colors are also available as per demand.
The USP of this watch, however, is the display on the scree, it sports weird characters stretched thinly along the longitude, something like ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Some may mistake it for a barcode, but hold on, you don’t have to rack your brains trying to decipher this cryptic text, just wrench your wrist a little and voila, the text appears in clear perspective, sort of like an airport runway. It shows the time in Hours-Minutes-Seconds-Milliseconds format and text in capital case. You can prank up your friends asking them to figure out the time. While they split hair, scratch palms or grin sheepishly you can act the cool dude who can read through the cryptic text.
Right Angle helps you view confidential data, safely from prying eyes. Yes, confidential data! This chic watch has a built-in USB memory similar to ThinkGeek's watch for school goers. In plain speak its purpose is to store data. But from a personal/confidential perspective, this lets you load secret files or personal information onto it. You can breathe easy for it stays close to you, on your wrist. The company supplies a USB cable to facilitate data transfer to and from your watch. The amount of memory in this watch is not specified but we can assume at least 4 GB of memory since that is the least memory today’s gadgets come equipped with.
