TiVo TV Recording goes mobile

TiVo network has coupled with Verizon Wireless allowing subscribers to program television recordings from their cell phones.

It's the first time digital video recording has surpassed the set-top-boxes and the television via TiVo Mobile, spreading its realm and giving users more options, rather hooking them more to the network. Though the users were having the option to program their TVs via the TiVo Web site and Yahoo enabling owners of web based cell phones to manage TV recordings.
TiVo CEO Tom Rogers said:
"TiVo isn't just about a great way to watch television but it's also about a great way to manage your TV life, and to do that, we realize TiVo can't be isolated. It has to be integrated with all these other digital devices in people's lives.'Read
