TiVo HD debuts with HDMI and CableCARD, still no front display

Right at the time we were about to think about the future of TiVo, TiVo HD has debuted.

TiVo comes with HDMI / component out up to 1080i, dual frontal CableCARD slots, ATSC Tuner, analog NTSC. All these slots are carefully and intelligently concealed behind the gray plastic bar.

Other features that the device boasts of include a Glo remote. What I don't like about it is that still there is no front display, no support for multi-room viewing, TiVoToGo and TiVToComeBack.

All this comes for a $300 price tag.
