Even I felt in a world spying over enemy’s top-secret project with lots of tiny mysterious instruments when I went through Pentagons project on developing robotic spying insects.
They have done this with rat-mounted cameras earlier. But, looking still ahead, a project to develop a maple seed camera, has been given to Lockheed Martin, for more 21st-century war spying.
In their own words,
the single-winged device would pack a tiny two-stage rocket thruster along with telemetry, communications, navigation, imaging sensors and a power source.
Blasted in clusters over war zones or disaster areas, it could do a tremendous video capturing to identify the locations of people to kill or save.
Further having a priority of listing device is all what push it closer to perfect spying devices, which could find ‘a needle in a haystack’.
