handheld ecg

What do you get if you put together a pair of electrodes, a really small LCD and an ARM training unit? Your very own handheld ECG machine! That’s right folks, this tiny ECG machine features a STM32 Primer which lets you just press your thumbs on the electrodes to see your ECG trace on the tiny LCD display. The thing beeps dramatically when it detects your pulse and shows your heart rate in decimal format in the upper left hand corner of the display. I’m not really sure why should you carry this in your handbag if you’re not a medical professional, but it would sure make a great toy to have handy when you’re having one of those ‘just-to-know-if-I’m-alive’ moments!
