Expiry dates, including 'best before', 'use by', 'eat within', depicted on packed food containers seems illogical most of the time as we often forget when exactly we opened the container and here these geeky 'Timestrips' comes handy. Just paste these strips on your freshly opened container and forget about gobbling the trash, as the Timestrip will alarm you much before it's rotten.

The smart labels cost around $9.20 for a pack of 50, but we would still prefer, as Alice Hill says, to rely on our natural senses to save ourselves from getting into trouble.
