These Boots could make one top out at 22 M.P.H.
Viktor K. Gordeyev, an ingenious engineering student at the top-notch science university invented a gasoline-powered boot that has got the looks of the pogo sticks that tie to your shins, and they work on the basis of air-cushioned basketball shoe.

Moreover, his gasoline-powered boots became classified as a Russian military secret until 1994. Unfortunately, Gordeyev's disenchanted effort to commercialize the shoes reflects the Russian inability to translate that talent into commercial usage.

A test runner once picked up the whopping speed of 21.7 miles per hour, despite the risk of being imbalanced. The tanks in the shoes embraces one third of a cup of gasoline each to take the runner three miles. Years have passed by but the gasoline-assisted running still is said to be risky.
Mr. Garipov comments:
The worst situation is when the spark fires as the runner just lands, and the force of the blast is absorbed by his body. The latest version operates smoothly. It will become a device for moving humanity. It's a means of personal transportation.
For now, these boots have been held up as an emblem of Russia's profound and loaded scientific traditions.
