Thermaltake Technology boasts world's first 1200W power supply

Thermaltake Technology has unveiled the world's first 1200W power supply.
The company has used a Toughpower line for the monster supply.

This system also makes us believe that we all have come a long way further from the traditional 240W power supply that was adequate to run all the computer peripherals.
This new 1200W power supply has an 8-pin PCE-E connector and six 6-pin PCI-E connectors so that you can connect a quad GPU systems setup.
The 8-pin connector is definitely meant for all the next generation connector for all the top-of-the line video cards.
