Few have the imagination to see beyond them and Theo Jansen is definitely one such Kinetic Sculptor. He is a real magician and is addicted to do them on a regular basis. I have seen mechanical bots a number of times but these kinetic ones are revelations. Is it possible, I mean, they’re built from plastic tubes and lemonade bottles; it’s incredible. The technicalities of the structures and their movements are just remarkable. That they generate energy of their own is very impressive indeed. I feel and believe it could serve as an answer for the utilization of the plastic waste. Jansen is so very right in terming their evolution to be the natural selection. Undoubtedly, I would say it’s a treat to watch them running on the beach side.
