Cameras and telescopes will now be able to capture dark objects with precision. A special kind of 'metameterial' prism with 'negative refractive index' has been developed by scientists at Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (Riken), Japan that allows light to pass through it fully without even an iota of reflection. The zero-reflection prism carved out of special engineered material can also be used in low-loss fiber optic communications and optical equipments.
