Engineer, anatomist, physiologist, artist, and what not, the list is endless, and in fact, it’s impossible to define the genius hidden under the name Leonardo Da Vinci. Leonardo3 has an awesome collection of Leonardo Da Vincis’ impeccable masterpieces. Leonardo envisaged ideas much ahead of his time and invented machines ranging from helicopter, tank, and calculator to concentrated solar power, the double hull, to mention a few.
Most of the concepts were in there infancy during the Renaissance and were emulated by other creators giving them the desired shapes. The machines mentioned here were designed with a purpose and include Self-supporting bridge, Canal excavating crane, Mechanical saw, Steam cannon, Mechanisms for Mechanical Wings, Flying machine, Mortar for fragmentation bombs, the Machine Gun and of course the Giant Crossbow and the Tank, mentioned in the pictures above. Just have a look!
