The Steampunk iPod is called the ‘eye-Pod’

Posted By: Bharat BhushanSharma | Mar 13 2009

Moving beyond the jinks of modern design, drawing inspiration from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and created using the first generation iPod nano, the creatively done eye-Pod by Doctor Grymm is an eye-luring Steampunk composition. Keeping all functionalities of the iPod intact, the eye-Pod can be worn on the wrist using a leather cuff, or can be placed on its custom made Victrola base (the dock), made of a brass lamp and bicycle parts. The base is attached with a Victrola horn that works as a speaker, while a personal Victorian style earpiece would also be made available. To charge the eye-Pod, a USB cable concealed under the base is retracted, which assists in charging via PC, or otherwise using an AC plug.
