The remote-controlled Millennium Falcon actually flies

Plucked out of the Star Wars fantasy, the Millennium Falcon replicas impress us much. Now, having seen some very detailed and impressively made sci-fi spaceship iterations, we often feel perplexed in admiring just each such creation. But this one pictured here, up for grabs @ $60 from Hammacher certainly deserves all credit. Not for the detailing alone but because this is perhaps the only remote controlled Millennium Falcon you’d find out there. Measuring almost a foot from stem to stern, the iconic spaceship has counter-rotating rotors built into the hull to evoke vertical movement like a helicopter. Capable of being controlled from up to 30-feet with a three-channel remote, the Millennium Falcon can move forward, backward and sideways and can stay afloat for up to five-minutes with a single 20-minute charge.
