Green has definitely become the flavour of this decade and here we have one more green concept that aims to make rescue operations greener. This time the Eagle Rescue Platform gets condensed into a smaller version that works on four electric motors instead of the gasoline engines that the Eagle Rescue Platform featured. This Electrically Powered Flying Concept Demonstrator brings a radically fresh approach to flying. It has four electric engines mounted at four different ends of it’s square shaped form. The Demonstrator will lift off when all the four engines rotate at a particular rpm and by varying this rpm consistently among all the four engines, the Demonstrator will change altitude.

To perform different manoeuvres like tilting and stopping in mid flight, the four electric motors will vary it’s speeds individually. As electric motors still haven’t been able to develop enough thrust like the gasoline engines, this concept is currently suitable only for light flying models. But as the future will see fuel cell technology coming into aviation, expect this concept to become a full size rescue model like the Eagle Rescue Platform, the only change being that it would be powered by electricity.
The radical new flying concept is green too
