The resemblance between the new all-white Acer 3020 notebook and the MacBook is purely incidental. Although the Acer’s first all-white ultra-portable doesn’t tastes like an Apple, it impressively lures with its 12.1-inch 1280 x 800 widescreen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, an in-built 1.3-megapixel webcam, 5-in-1 card reader and an external optical drive. The sleek 1.5kg notebook is based on based on Intel Centrino Mobile Technology Duo platform and packs a motion sensor to stop the hard drive spinning, in case it is accidentally dropped, to protect your valuable data. Acer has not disclosed the price and launch date of the notebook yet.
Now, just hope that the Acer 3020 doesn’t loose its sheen like the Mac.
