These medical devices being showcased at the museum are indeed questionable because they are absurd and not acceptable in the modern world. Each device, though being used in the past, tries to outshine the other with weirdness associated with it.
Now take this ‘Natural Eyesight System’ of the 1930’s that promises to give you back your eye freedom with ‘No Doctoring-No Drugs-No Danger, Nothing to Wear and Nothing to Fear’. Also there is a ‘Prostate Gland Warmer’, 1918, that promises to “stimulate the abdominal brain!”
The ‘Heidelberg Electric Belt’ will hold by the nerves and cure all kinds of nervous disorders and if you’re not satisfied you can try the Addison’s Galvanic Electric Belt or Morse Electric Belt. I can’t go on further, the list is endless, enjoy your trip of the museum and all the best!
