The ‘mobile egg’ your mailman would admire

Going green is the mantra to survive in this ever diminishing ecological system and public utility services should stick to it. The Royal Mail seems to have realized this notion and is therefore keen on testing an egg shaped buggy developed by the French company Matra. This buggy which is more of a quadracycle is a direct plug-in commuter that covers 30 to 35 miles on a single charge. Currently two of such commuters are being tested and if the Royal Mail finds the results satisfactory, these quads could replace the entire contingent of the Vauxhall Combo Vans, they use currently. The chances of replacing the regular fleet are high for these buggies offer an impressive load space of 80 cubic feet.
