The only thing pumping the grey cells under the skull of Greg Kolodziejzyk is to break the existing 24 hour human powered distance record of 1021.36 km set by Axel Fehlau in 1995. To accomplish the rare feat, Greg has morphed his bicycle into an ultimate human powered carbon fiber machine know as ‘Critical Power’, truly designed for the kill.
The Critical Power human powered vehicle is designed like a bullet to achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency and surpass a whopping 100 km per hour of speed.
Apparently, Greg’s attempt, that will kick start within a couple of months on a closed track in Eureka, California, sets a new standard in future green technology also. It does not depends on Critical Power alone, that will allow Greg to achieve at least 50 kmph on less than 130 watts of power applied on its paddles, rather the passion with which Greg is nurturing his dream.
So, just hold your breath and wait for the grand finale. Don’t miss the photos and videos of Critical Power.
