Crazy how the gadget geeks can think at times! It is good to devise tracking systems for touring foreign natives in your country, but we really don’t think that you should kill them if they overstay their visa period. A Saudi Inventor has developed a semiconductor device that can be implanted into the body to track the foreign natives in Germany using GPS technology. If the foreign nationals overstay their visas, they could be killed on the push of a button which would prompt the “killer chip” to release poison into the body. This inventor applied for two patents, the first being that of implanting the chip to track a foreigner and the second was for another version (model B) that is the killer chip.
The model B was requested to be brought into use for foreign nationals who became a security risk. The inventor was determined to devise ways to track people sought by security forces, as the number of such people has increased. Thankfully enough, a patent office rejected his request on the basis that his invention was unethical and a danger to the public. The irony is that this Jeddah-based inventor can apply for a patent in other nations and we know that there are a few who may approve of this.
