The Human Interactive Robot yet again from Japan

Seems like a day where Japanese developed androids and doodads are determined to make the world look ordinary. The Human Interactive Robot abbreviated as HIRO as the name suggests is a robot that is being developed to take on human chores. It isn’t a final model that would soon start thronging the Japanese streets as the Kawada group wants to use it is a platform for similar robots to be developed in future. There isn’t much information about how this robot is being developed but, we know where the inspiration is coming from! We aren’t thoroughly sure but this might have something to do with the HIRO from the NBC drama heroes where the character Hiro Nakamura is vested with the ability to manipulate space time. Any more guesses people?
