The Hand of Man robot from the Burning Man festival

The Burning Man festival has always been home to creativity that mystifies a human beyond imagination. The Hand of Man Robot created by Christian Ristow from New Mexico is a sensational project that personifies colossal creativity. This hand emulates almost every movement of a human hand, uses hydraulics to move and can be controlled using a small glove. The project, which took six months to come to life, was funded by Burning Man festival 2008. It measures 25 feet, and the fact that even a 5-year-old boy can bring it into motion and see his movements getting simulated through a giant hand is startling. Video after the jump.
