The gaming revolution concept dubbed the Iris
Virtual gaming is headed for a worthy revolution and the concept that would bring about this change is the Iris. This video game system designed by David Jones is a stunning combination of a computer, router, switch and a projector. Already worried about your pocket? You shouldn’t be. Even with all that amalgamation it would hardly hurt you as much as a PC does.
The computer is the heart of this system and it also functions as a charger for the projector. The projector is capable of projecting four different screens, which means a single console can accommodate 16 players in a single go. A special pair of gloves with embedded accelerometers and gyroscopes function as game controllers.
The future is calling people and this might well be the console that would show Wii and Nintendo the door. Who knows!
