Check out the image that I found on flickr. This bike looks all loaded to go to the moon and back. And the funny thing is that you don’t need a freaky little alien escorting you as you fly on this baby. Developed by Herr Uli Fahl, this one’s replete with a rocket pack. Complete paraphernalia to take you to beyond 80 km/h consists of some fuel and what looks like a combustion engine of some sort. And don’t count on not going air borne at some inopportune moment with this one. A year back this one was only a prototype and I would believe that things might have shaped up since then. Called “Thunderbirdy” it is easy to see the thought process (or the lack thereof) that has gone on behind making this one. I mean you attach stuff to a Birdy folding bike and lo and behold you have a Thunderbirdy. The designer envisages some sort of ambulance with this bike and that has left me at my wits’ end.
