
It’ll be better to call it a ‘road-ready airplane’ rather than a flying car. This bizarre looking deadly craft is indeed an airplane that you can park it in your garage and hit the road or air as per your whims.
It’s equipped with retractable wings that allow you to takeoff just like simple plane. Designer Carl Dietrich, MIT, calls this enticing vehicle a ‘roadable aircraft’ and is confident of taking off the prototype by 2010 with a price tag of ‘just’ $150,000.
