5-Mile Laser Pointer
The very idea of laser pointers pinches the child in me to come out and play some pranks. Hammacher claims it to be the first laser pointer with the maximum legal range allowed for civil use in the US. The laser pointer shoots out a bright point of green light to over 25,000' (more than five miles).

These laser pointers can prove very handy while gazing stars through a telescope or during presentations. It's fitted with a 4.99 milliwatts microprocessor that churns out an electromagnetic cycle of 532 nanometers on the visual light spectrum, thus producing the bright green light.

The beam strength too is maintained with the help of Automatic Power Control technology, so just forget about it fading away. The pointer's special 3-volt lithium battery can resist extremely low temperatures allowing you to enjoy your astronomical observations.

Price: $159.95
