Fashion house, Maison de Courreges’s Andre and Coqueline Courreges have embellished their electric vehicle line with the latest ‘Zooop’ that takes you 450 km per charge. The three-seater 690 kg car runs on powerful Lithium Polymer batteries (70 A/hour 370 V) that don’t let you down by generating 150 kW of power and still maintaining their cool, and charging and recharging fast. The Zooop can reach speeds of 180 km/h, which is too good and apparently gives relief to the depleting crude oil resources.
It’s sad we’ve been designing cars to whet our undying appetite for speed and thrill, completely neglecting what and how much nature has in the offing. I think these types of designs should have emerged at least a decade before, however, automobile manufactures, who have in fact lost their focus, can bounce back with more creative and practical concepts like the Zooop, which ironically is unleashed by a fashion house, and help getting back the lost sheen of this beautiful planet.

Poorly written article. Not properly researched and the author gives misguided opinions.
Great new Gizmo. 450 km per charge seem to be amazing today. I guess that safety is not the main purpose of this car.
Thank you for sharing this story with me !
fugly
not really nothing new...looks like a turtle on wheels.
these types of designs did emerge long time ago. Lot more then a decade. It is the battery design that is the hard part.
I have tos ay that it’d never do well on the NCAP tests.
we will never see a car like this in the u.s.
The oil companies are in league with the car companies, and the car companies with the National safety regulations.
It would undoubtedly be deemed ’unsafe’, thereby furthering their strangling control on the US market, forcing us to continue to use oil consuming, heavy vehicles. All under the guise of safety.
Creative? Okay. Practical? Are you joking?
I wouldn’t choose this ”car” to even if it was to race in Mario Kart.
Yerg, that car probably is unsafe, but that’s not the reason we won’t see it in the US. The main reason we won’t see it in the US is because it won’t sell well. The homosexual population is still a very small minority in the US.
Ugh! Not even gay people would buy that ugly thing. The Evette that was just on another blog looks much better. Also consider that it only costs $2 to charge it up and it goes 200 miles per charge.
I’m sure we will see something like these cars on the market in the next few years despite the strangle-hold of the oil and car industries.
How about a replacement system to the current gasoline infrastructure? Same car, same electricals, but different engine that is either less or not reliable on gasoline.
or do we need like another 50 years to replace the infrastructure? Assuming we even have enough gasoline to build the new electric cars in the first place....
Wow, it’s like the 70s threw up on a chassis.
Seriously, imagine what it would be like to drive around in a big yellow bubble - talk about an artificial feeling experience.
Giant Lithium Polymer batteries? I wouldn’t charge it overnight in your garage unless you don’t mind running the risk of waking up as a charcoal briquette. Same reason cell phones and laptop batteries catch fire sometimes. Sounds crazy, but its more dangerous than flammable liquids.
Its so nice to hear all the anti-gay quotes, not to mention how many people seem to think that this will never sell. Is it nice living in the southern US? But really a car such as this is the future, and for everyone having a fit with the safety, if there were more cars such as this on the road other then your 4 lane wide 25 person SUV they would be safe. And about the guy who said that the batteries would kill you and your families in your sleep, for some reason I dont think a battery is more dangerous that lugging around 20 gallons of highly explosive liquid under a car going upwards of 75 mph. Just my two cents.
hola que tal.
este proyecto tiene una pagina oficial?
saben si se va poner ala venta?
se va producir?
Looks like a bubble on a bathtub, not exactly sophistication. Just look at the metal cube thing in the front with the headlight mounts. The least they could have done is put some sheetmetal over that, or god forbid a bumper. Also, the exposed wheels look pretty vulnerable. This will never, ever sell, not only in the US but anywhere. The Smart car is one thing, they’re sophisticated and safe. This looks like a throwback ”future car” from the 60s.
How do you get in it? It has no doors.
It must come with a really powerful air conditioner, because with that bubble it’s like a mobile solar oven.
Very ugly in this sickly colour.. Im sure that it must be expensive too.. Looks a bit dangerous, and i agree its a poorly written interview.. Not enough images or actual info.
Nice car I like it!
I saw it in Paris it was good to see it in all that darknes.
Thank you for making cars like this one!
That concept car is so unique. because it looks like a squash. haha. lol. but seriously this car might have good and powerful ignition coil that provides it great performance.
