Don't worry, the 'Censored Pics of Torched MacBook Power Connector' above is not reason enough to believe that the MacBook has lost the fire within its belly.

Apple acted fast to remove these pics from Flickr where it were submitted by its owner Rogier Mulder. You can have a look at these at a Dutch MacNed website also. The controversial pictures of a MagSafe power connector have fetched its owner a new MacBook in lieu of removing the pics immediately.

The torched magnetic MagSafe power connector must not give excuse to the hidden nerds to come out lashing on the book as it was just an accident. Rogier Mulder too acted smartly, but could have get it fixed by just calling the helpline, anyway, he says:

"Apple support responded very well (thanks Klaas) and fast. Before I called our local Apple support line, the dutch engineers were already contacted by their US collegues (who saw the pics) to inquire if I already called in. I'm getting a new Macbook asap and I will return my current one."
