mpanel

Touch to play music, touch to manage your room’s lighting, touch to manage your room’s climate and touch to view and adjust your room’s security and surveillance system. All this is courtesy Embedded Automation’s all new mPanel which is basically a touchscreen panel which lets you do all of the above, with just the touch of your finger. At your fingertip’s gets an all new meaning with the mPanel. The mpanel is a 7-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 800 by 480 which has a built in amplification system that can play all your music. The dimunitive size of the mPanel also means it can be mounted on any wall or vertical flat surface, anywhere in your home. How the mPanel works is not rocket science, but basically by interacting with a Windows server in your house or even your personal computer which will store all the commands to control the various functions and then interact with the user through the mPanel.

And since the mPanel works with the single ethernet cable connected to your server or computer, there is no need of nasty drilling marks all over the walls and touching up the walls after everything is done. And for multiple rooms, you do need multiple mPanels and currently Embedded Automation is working on a similar system which can control your entire house with a single panel. That would be one handy piece of panel which could make life easier and a lazy bum like me lazier.
